Germany’s Young Talent Timo Werner Joined Team Squad For Confed Cup: The German Football Team is known for scouting young talents to squad in big competitions and they did it once again. Team squad of Germany for Confed Cup 2017 has been announced. The 21 years old Timo Werner attracted Joachim Low as the German coach took him to Russia for the Tournament of Champions.
Timo Werner begun his National career Germany U15 team in which he scored three goals in four games. Since then has played for Germany’s U16, U17, U19 and U21. As Joachim Low rested most of his players for Summer break, he selected Timo for FIFA Confederations Cup 2017.
At the age of 18, Timo started his career with VFB Stuttgart. At the end of 2015-16 season, Stuttgart relegated from Bundesliga that forced Timo to move to RB Leipzig. At his new club, Timo got forward position and he didn’t disappoint anyone. His 21 goals in 31 games assisted Leipzig to finish Bundesliga at second spot and also qualified for Champions League. He was the fourth highest goal scorer of Bundesliga 2016-17.

Germany have produced number of midfielders in recent years, but they were lacking fine striker in recent years. That limitation appeared in Euro 2016 when they didn’t have the striker what they wanted.
After playing Max Kruse, Sandro Wagner in front, Joachim Low has selected Tim Werner to fill the vacant place of forward. This is yet another great chance for the former Stuttgart forward. Let see how Germany perform with their youngsters.
World Champions Germany will play against Australia, Chile and Cameroon on 19, 22 and 25 June respectively.
