Video: FIFA Unveiled FIFA Confederations Cup Trophy Featuring Cristiano Ronaldo

FIFA, the Governing body of International Football have unveiled trophy of FIFA Confederations Cup competition. FIFA also published a video featuring Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese was awarded with The Best FIFA Men’s Player of 2016 who eyes on winning first ever FIFA Confederations Cup title. Portugal will be playing their first ever Tournament of Champions in Russia as they conquered Europe in France.

Only three nations Brazil, Mexico and France have tasted the glory of this competition since 1997. Brazil have won it most times [4], but failed to qualify for this 10th edition. After Brazil, France holds record for winning it two times.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who will represent Portugal in Russia set up his eyes on Confederations Cup. The Portuguese captain was asked about his expectations ahead of the tournament and somewhat curious reason why he would avoid touching the trophy ahead of the final. Have a look on the video below.

Portugal qualified for this tournament as UEFA Euro 2016 winners. It was their first ever European title that came with only goal from Eder in extra time. The Navigators are in Group A with hosts Russia, New Zealand and Mexico.
